Days 1 & 2

Kulala Wilderness Reserve

Upon arrival, the Chatered flight takes us south to the heart of the Namib Desert where we are based for 2 nights in the luxury retreat of Little Kulala. Set within the 40,000 hectare Kulala Wilderness Reserve at the edge of the extensive Namib Naukluft National Park, we will take morning guided game drives to Sossusvlei’s stunning red sand dunes and hope to find some of the area’s desert adapted wildlife. Take a dip in your own personal plunge pool out on the deck, or cool down under a private outdoor shower. Finish off the day relaxing on your rooftop “skybed” watching the spectacular night sky unspoilt by light pollution and your entire experience is sure to be unforgettable.

Days 3 & 4

Damaraland Wilderness Camp (or Desert Rhino Camp)

Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the ever changing patterns of the dunes, some ancient shipwrecks and the vast pink blanket of flamingos across Walvis Bay. Take in the rugged beauty of the Skeleton Coast both from the air and the ground. We will endeavour to find rare and endangered black rhino across the desert, as well as desert adapted elephant, amongst an amazing variety of other mammals, birds and reptiles. A great accolade to the Damaraland Wilderness Camp is its continuing hard work with the local community to live in harmony with its wildlife and the environment. Another destination for this safari is Desert Rhino Camp, from which you will be able to track black rhino with Save The Rhino Trust.

Day 5 & 6

Ongava Game Reserve and Etosha National Park

Flying by light aircraft to the private Ongava Game Reserve bordering Etosha National Park, we join game drives, during the day and night, where we will see an abundance of animals including endangered species and a wealth of bird life in this vast arena. Home to elephant and rhino, leopard and lion, amongst other species, an armed guide will accompany you should you choose to go on foot within this reserve, where you can choose to watch the wildlife from the security of purpose built hides. Ranking as one of Africa’s largest parks, Etosha is renowned for its impressive white pan of over 6,000km2. It boasts one of the few growing populations of black rhino in the world and affords excellent mammal and bird sightings. Experience fine dining under thatch overlooking the reserve’s great plains and continue with still more breathtaking views across the reserve from the comfort of your own private balcony.
